About the Kerian Calendar

The Kerian Calendar is a modern reimagining of time built around base-8 principles and a rhythmic 8-day week. Designed for clarity, flexibility, and personal resonance, it offers a new way to track days, plan events, and mark meaning in your life. Whether you're interested in alternative systems or simply want a calendar that adapts to your flow, the Kerian Calendar gives you more control over how time is shaped.

This is a manual style calendar meaning everything can be adjusted. For convenience (2025 or 3751): Jan 1st starts Ozon(D:4), and Dec 1st starts Aqua(A:1). There's a pattern that goes like this, every month ending with day 40, it'll be the same start of the day next month exept on October unless it's leap year. And if you look up at the moon during that same time, it'll be the same moon at the end of the next month. The same start of the month ends with a familar moon.

Key Features

Designed for Flexibility

Traditional calendars are built around legacy systems. The Kerian Calendar encourages a shift toward patterns that better reflect natural cycles and mental clarity. Simply, it's more educational. And because there are 8 days per week on the calendar, the last days are never split in half. It's always a full "square" day on the Kerian Calendar.

Sync at Your Own Tempo

Whether you're tracking lunar phases, assigning personal rituals, or syncing with your own productivity cycles, this calendar is built to grow with you. By decoupling from rigid 7-day structures, it becomes a more adaptable framework — perfect for daily journaling, spiritual tracking, or project planning.

Pronunciation guide

AH-kwuh-day, TRAW-puh-day, STRAT-uh-day, OH-zun-day, MEH-sow-day, THUR-moh-day, EKS-oh-day, PAA-zih-day. All have a rhythmic trisyllabic flow.

Suggestion for EXO and POS being the new octal weekend. If looking for every 7th day, it occurs diagnally to the left. So every next sabbath day will be a new week day. Think of it as a way to have a newly themed sabbath rest day. Option to take the Sabbath off and Posiday. Or Stick to EXO and POS.

There's a limit to how many characters can be saved into all the notes combined, so I suggest every other leap year to create a new file. About 4,000,000 letter characters can be saved in one local JSON file.
